The Vitria Education team wants to ensure that all participants attain the maximum benefits of the training we provide. To ensure this, we ask that you pay close attention to the prerequisites required for each course. As this is a critical factor for the student and class success, Vitria reserves the right to cancel a student's registration if the pre-requisite skills are not met.
Our online registration system provides a view of available classes and class capacity status, and allows students to register at the same time. A username and password is assigned the first time a student uses the online registration system, which allows them to register for subsequent classes without re-entering personal and company information. Use the "Find Login Information" function on the registration page if you have forgotten your username and/or password, or email our Education Team at email@example.com
Using the valid email address you specify during registration, you will receive an email acknowledging your class registration request. The receipt of this email does not confirm your registration.
Your registration will not be confirmed until we have received payment. We will not be able to confirm your registration until payment is received and we have verified completion or enrollment of any pre-requisite Vitria classes. You will have seven calendar days after registering to send in the payment. Once payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent to you. If we have not received payment within the seven days, an email will be sent to you and your registration request will be released. Confirmation emails will provide information about the class (location, start date/time and end date/time), your confirmation number and directions to our training centers.
Payment and Pricing Information
You must specify your preferred method of payment during registration. Any one of the following may be used:

For prepaid training services, the funds will be kept in a reserve account for 12 months. If the services have not been delivered in that timeframe, no credit will be issued.

For public courses, the charge is one EU per day of instruction, per student.
The standard rate is $750 per Education Unit.

Vitria Hosted Classes
Students, who cancel ten business days or more prior to the first day of class, are entitled to a full refund. Cancellations or rescheduling requests less than ten business days prior to the class will be billed at 100% of the course fee. We will no longer offer a penalty credit toward any rescheduled classes.
Customer/Partner Onsite Classes
An onsite class can be rescheduled or cancelled up to four weeks prior to the agreed upon start date, at no penalty. If a cancellation or rescheduling notice is received less that four weeks prior to the agreed upon start date the following penalties will apply:
- At 3 weeks, a penalty of 25% of the total course fee will be charged
- At 2 weeks the penalty will be 50%
- At 1 week or less the penalty will be 100%
For all three above conditions, any expenses such as travel or materials that we cannot repurpose will also be charged. We will no longer offer a penalty credit toward any rescheduled classes.
If Vitria determines that a student does not have the required skills to successfully complete the course objectives, we may request that the student discontinue the program until she/he has achieved the necessary pre-requisite skills. For customer/partner onsite classes, Vitria may elect to cancel the class if most of the students also do not have the pre-requisite skills. Cancellations for this reason in either public or onsite classes will still be at full cost, as the requirements are well known in advance.
Vitria provides a detailed onsite installation guide prior to the training, which includes software, hardware, and networking requirements. Additionally Vitria Education provides technical support to assist with classroom preparation. Adherence to the site preparation instructions is critical to ensure smooth operation of the class. Deviations from the technical set-up requirements, without pre-approval from Education Services, we result in class cancellation at a 100% fee.
Vitria Cancelled Classes
Occasionally, a class may not meet our low-enrollment requirements (4 person minimum). In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel the class session. We will attempt to provide eight business days notice if a class is cancelled. If we fail to meet this advance notice, we will give a discount of 20% to the next class attended by the individual inconvenienced.
To cancel or reschedule classes, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
